Fatima Need urgent help with my scanner please help...? - Fatima I have just bought a new scanner Canon : CanoScan Lide 100. I plugged the scanner in (the usb) connected the scanner with computer. Put the cd in and installed everything- then when ever I click on MP Navigator EX 2.0 to scan a document it does not work. When I click on it a box comes up saying " the scanner driver supported by this sofware is not installed. Install it then retry" What is this scanner driver what shall I do I have no idea. I have to scan a really important document today please help. I reppel technonlgy i am really bad with computers. Sorry for putting anyone in trouble but please answer and help. Thank You .
Best Answer: Asalamalaikum.. Always you shd start to install the cd first and then connect the usb to the computer.. because some devices do not get detected without the software.. What u need to do now is .. restart ur system without the scanner connected.. then after pc fully is ready to use connect the scanner and start the program and see if it scans.. if it doesnt happen.. uninstall the software completely then reinstall the software without the scanner connected.. while installing the software may ask u to connect the device that time u can connect it to ur pc.. -
