rachelg1995 How do I get automatic numbering in my Word document back? - rachelg1995 I'm writing a programme, which includes the name of the performer, as well as what they are playing in sequence of 1, 2, 3.. For the first few names, there was automatic number done, but because I need to write a new name and rewrute 1, 2, 3...the automatic number stopped. How do I get it back? The option in "AutoCorrect" is stlll "automatic numbered lists", so I don't know what to do...? I need the automatic numbering! The programme just won't look right.
Best Answer: There are actually 2 or 3 different ways to do that, but I'll just give the easiest one for you. Highlight everything that you want listed in the numbering format (including the ones that are already numbered) Click on "Format" in the menu bar at top Select "Bullets and Numbering..." Click on the "Numbered" tab Select the numbering format that you wish to use and then click OK (or just double click on the numbering format you want). And everything should be automatically numbered. Best of luck. - Denver Al
