asdf Connect MacbookPro 2009 Unibody to TV? - asdf I bought a minidvi to hdmi adaptor for my new macbook pro and tried to connect it to the tv, but then realized that the new macbook needs the mini display port to hdmi adaptor. I will buy that, but I read online that this does not produce audio. What types of audio cables will I need to buy to connect the macbook pro to my tv? (Its a brand new, lcd tv) Thanks!
Best Answer: The MacBook should have a headphone jack. In the 2007 model it's on the left side of the computer, although it may have moved on the newer version. You'll need a cable to connect this to the audio in on the TV. Something like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812120151 should do the job. - Fraggle
RCA cables and you will need to get a 3.5 head phone jack splitter that you will allow you to hook it to your tv you may also need the female inline connectors as well - Gregory F
