I have a hp 4180 printer and been using it for a while but i let my brother use it somewhere else and it was..? - Unknown working with him for a day when he turned it on the next day all the lights were flashing and hp told me its a fatal error it has to be serviced does anyone know who to fix this problem so i don't get it serviced! Thank you

Best Answer: Sounds like it may have jammed. Look where the ink cartrigdes are and see if there is anything obstructing the carrage and print heads. Remove all the ink carts and re install them. If it is still blinking then yes it looks like a repair at a shop. Bare in mind a new printer can be had extreamly cheap these days if they quote more than £40. -
