Nikon D60 Camera... A future classic OR Yet another pile of obsolete junk? - Thank you for your answers Have a great evening.
Best Answer: Answer is NO. Entry level cameras are not usually design classics. Design classics arrive at that status because they are state of the art in original product design, usually high end products; not another entry level effort to slim and trim to cut costs and copy design aesthetics. -

A Nikon D60 is a perfectly good camera but not a design classic .... but that is the way of things with technology. It is destined for obsolescence along with audio cassettes (which WERE a design classic), Polaroid cameras (another ground breaker) and moon boots .... yeah well ... probably best forgotten. The D60 is a reasonable digital SLR with nothing special to make it stand out. I am not convinced it will ever have much of a second hand market as the technology is becoming cheaper and driven by features and fashion. - roscullion
