Chris B Do I need an Amp for rear 6x9s? - Chris B I'm planning to modify my car stereo with a new deck and front and rears. Do I need to run the amp to the speakers or is the 50w x 4 good enough? I ask becuase I'm planning on running a sub too.
Best Answer: Nothing is really a need... But if your subs are strong enough, you may appreciate amping all your inside speakers. Really depends on your intentions and budget. Most decks RMS around 20 watts x 4... - d_monie3
yes you should your sub going to over whelm you with bass
you don't need a amp for the 6x9's but you diffidently will need a amp for the woofers.
