I cant get BBC1 BBC2 BBC3 or BBC News following the switchover in the Granada area. Anyone got same problem? - lone groover I've re-tuned, both with antenna cable connected and unconnected, tried a manual search, checked my ariel using Teletext checker but still cant receive those channels. I can get BBC4 & BBC Parliament. Is this a common problem which will be fixed by the boffins or do I need a new freeview box?

Best Answer: We had this problem with our old digi-box and had to get a new one. Some older boxes couldn't be retuned after the recent digi changes. yes you may need a new box.....All best...R. - Shelleyboy

Check this list of equipment with only 2K of re-programmable memory: http://www.digitaluk.co.uk/__data/assets/pdf_file/0015/21057/for_website_2K_only_models_ex_volumes_revised-15_Sept_09.pdf If its a 2K box you need a new box as your box hasn't enough memory to hold the new style channel information. Try and reset the box to factory settings and start again with the re-tune. Where are you located ? - Roy <

I got no probs, but this has happened in the past & has been a tech issue with the broadcasting signal/mast - it usual gets resolved by the network engineers after a couple of hours, so I would give it a little time before contacting them. Damned annoying if your in the middle of watching something ! p.s. Ellesmere Port Area
