Best Answer: Definitely. You can buy the headphones that have a microphone built in, and install the Skype app. It works great. My roommate in Turkey did that to keep his long distance phone bill down. I don't know what you know about Skype but there's a lot you can do with it. You can set up local number for nearly any location in the world so people can call you without having to pay long distance, and you can even forward your Skype account to another phone. I did that while living abroad and it was amazing. I bought a local number in Utah (for my family). I would keep it logged on at all times and forward it to my cell phone in Turkey.
