foney_email 62mx195 Toshiba, or hl-r5688 Samsung? - foney_email Okay. I am looking to get a tv. I really like the design of the pedestal samsungs(hl-r5688), but I was looking at the toshiba 62mx195. Toshiba Pros: Larger, and has a glass overlay (right?), and possibly a better picture output. Symbio's dvr hookup. Lamp is rated at higher brightness. Cons: Larger native 1080p means crappy pq for sd channels, and xbox. Almost 95% of viewing will be sd. Samsungs still look better in showrooms. No Game mode. No 1080p input. Have to buy stand. Samsung Pros: Don't have to buy stand. Game mode ensures no lag. 10,000:1 contrast ratio. Really snazzy styling. 1080p input. Smaller=better sd content (right?) Brighter, crisper picture in showrooms. Cons: Smaller, not "the best". audio lag issues. Same price as bigger toshiba. no provisions for wires , or components. I like the toshiba for the bling factor of 62". I like the samsung because I believe it is a better quality tv. Please let me know what you think about my dilemma. I am ready to buy. Thanks...
