It has Jaton 3DForce G-32 (32 MB) AGP graphics card. But I dont have an extra harddrive. Any ideas? Thanks
Best Answer: No drive then run it LIVE from the LIVE CDrom, http://pclinuxos.com etc. at http://livecdlist.com I am talking here without a harddrive, on pclinuxos for three weeks, never reboot! or, get a cheap and small drive, at http://newegg.com or http://pricewatch.com THEN, also, your choices can be to: Turn it into a IPCOP box! Hard drive of 1 Gb does great! Block all bad domains collect all email sort out all the spam kills all the virus filters all web pages serves up to 36 client nodes on the network and, it is headless, and FREE! http://ipcop.com but, that might be overpowered for this app. It could become a FAST (50Times FASTER! ) game machine, running Linux! that only needs a 4 to 10 Gb drive! http://transgaming.org/gamesdb Or, simply a really GREAT training platform for Unix, and gaming, using http://pclinuxos.com or http://ubuntu.org or one of the other 800+ FREE OSes at http://livecdlist.com and http://distrowatch.com and http://linuxiso.org with any drive from 4 Gb up! Scsi, SATA, or IDE! - Linuxiac
If nothing else it will be a nice platform to run linux. There are several distributions that do not have heavy system requirements. Take a look at Ubuntu. - NiteStinger
you should fish tank it man now that would be bad of course your going to need some money and alot time but more time than money - bassofwar
keep it cool and overclock the guts out of it. - phill281
Make a web server out of it! Thats what I would do anyway got some old Compaq Aramada laptops 266mhz I'm going to use as file and web servers on my local intranet in my house. Plus they actually run fast if you use a small OS system, I already put one of my on the internet and have a friend hit as many pages as he could and the 266 held up pretty good. - xtechmods
You could make a thin client. - john_mirra_pbmi
