I am looking for the manufactured date on a zenith big screen tv. The model number is a56m91w.? - Josh

The white label on the rear of the set will tell the month and year of manufacture. There is another way, if the label is missing. Remove the rear of the set, and find the serial number. The first digit of the serial number is the year of manufacture i.e. 3049845 serial would be either 1983,1993, or 2003. Generally, the style of the set will give you evidence of the decade. There are tags inside the set for filing warranty claims. these tags will have the model, and serial printed on them. I looked up the model number for this set. It has the 009-01978 main module in it, so that set will be from the late 90's, before Zenith/LG farmed their projection sets out to Hitachi. - Edward B

If you look on the back of the TV there might be a sticker with a production date on it. - mrhan1
