Blue4U Sony's Blu-ray player model: BDP-S1? - Blue4U I have Sony's very first Blu-ray player ($999.99). I hear that Sony's future players will be ones called "models 1.1". Apparently these models 1.1 will let you do a hell of a lot more than my current player can do. My question is will there be an upgrading disk to update my BDP-S1?
Best Answer: Did you get the 12/20/07 update? They have a download available. You burn the update to a DVD then insert it into your player. There detailed instruction on there site. But no update will add 1.1 features to this model. It needs hardware to process the PIP feature. - sodaman
