Question and Answers

Keenly Joomla? would this be ideal for business? - Keenly I posted a msg here the other night but I only got one reply about CMS's and I've been doing my research and I was wanting some opinions. I've been looking at quite a few of these content management systems and Joomla/Umbraco look the best. What do you think of Joomla is it easy to customise? Can you install a shopping cart thats not external to your site so it's Incorporated? Has anyone created a Joomla site that I can look at? Also does anyone offer hosting? php/mysql/unlimited bandwith/secure server that I can purchase. Its for a Funiture Business and its going to have pages: About the Company(info) contact us (Number,Address, google map plugin) Request a catalog(email form) Products (shopping cart) simple catagorie section for furniture type. Search Engine (so you can find product numbers) Does this sound any good? Since this is a job given to me by my dad and I wanna get it right, I have a degree in graphic design but am only able to do html/graphical websites so this is new.
Best Answer: joomla is a great CMS, i personally use it on several sites, another good one is e107, unfortunately there are no good integrated shopping carts for that. i believe that there are several free integrated stores (plugins/addons) for joomla available - UltraMagnus
