Joseph S help with winSCP? - Joseph S okay so i installed winSCP and i got the SSH on my itouch, its turned on and everything but whenever i try to log into winSCP it says network error: connection timed out. i typed in my ip address(hostname) right and i put the username as root and password alpine, i put the port number as 22 and the file protocal as SCP but it always says the same thing plz help
Best Answer: SSH (secure shell) is different from SCP (secure copy) - see if you can connect via SSH (download a copy of PuTTY, it's free). - greg
