CookiesRGood Wii router problem? HELP!!!!!!!? - CookiesRGood I just bought a D-Link RangeBooster G Router to connect my Wii to the internet. I used the set up wizard and it works up to the last step. When it tests to make sure it's working, an error pops up (no router found). I made sure all cables were secure and tried it twice. What should I do to get this to work. Thanks in advance!
Best Answer: Are you sure you given it an SSID (the name for your access point)? If you didn't, open your router's configuration utility and give it its SSID (check the router channel while you're at it, make sure it's at 1 or 11). If you did, then try a Manuel Setup. The router can't be way too far. 10 feet is good enough. Make sure the cables are hooked up right. The modem should connect to the modem (or WAN) port. The computer should hook up to the Computer (or LAN) port. - CJG
reset the router and the wii.....try again. if not, you might be out of range - The Sauce Man
