Dave S.G. Seattle Please rate my mix-match home theater system....10 high and 1 low....? - Dave S.G. Seattle This is what I have and can afford now: TV: Pioneer Elite 42 inch Plasma flat screen tv (1 year old model) Sound System: Bose 5.1 Surround Sound System DVD Player: Playstation 3 Thanks...
Best Answer: If you're satisfied with it then it's a 10. To heck with what other people think. But I have to say it sounds good to me. By the way. The PS2 and 3 are rated as high for DVD's as any dedicated player out there. Are you using fiber optic links?(necessary for true digital sound) That only applies if your receiver is digital. If not, check one out. The difference is worth the price. Especially if you go with a high current amp. My 80 watt Denon is high current and it will eat a standard 125 watt amp for lunch and the price is not outrageous. Onkyo also makes very good high current digital receivers for a reasonable price.
