Troy T how to play ps2 w/ wireless internet? - Troy T i just bought a ps2 to work with a game i had. i have a wireless-g router (linksys) and i want to use it wirelessly with my ps2 .. i had to put the cd from the router install into each computer on the network ( i suppose for security reasons) is there a way to connect wirelessly or i was thinking if its possible to have my laptop which is on the network have a ethernet cord run to the ps2 possibly to "share the internet" lol i haven't found anything on this subject but thanks in advance
Best Answer: The only way is to plug a Ethernet cable(might need to be "crossed over") into your router. It sounds like your router has encryption if you are using a disk with all your computers - probably WPA. The PS2 has no wireless capability - I do not know of any wireless usb devices that will work with a PS2 and if there was - u would need to set the encryption on the PS2 - David_Falconer
