My Tivo records shows for itself, how do I stop it? - André C Hi. I have noticed that my Series2 tivo records shows from LiveTV by itself, usually at nights. And I dont want to.... Can anybody tell me how can I stop it from autorecording shows I dont want to have??? Thx :D

Best Answer: Go into the mode to watch recodings. 1) Or just press the TiVo button on the remote. 2) scroll down to messages and settings, press select 3) scroll down to settings, press select 4) scroll down to Recording, press select 5) scroll down to TiVo suggestions, press select 6) scroll down to the option that says "No, don't record TiVo suggestions", press select 7) Press the button that say "Live TV" Now you have shut off the TiVo suggested recordings.
