Question and Answers

mo roms on nintendo wii? - mo I want to buy a nintendo wii, but i was wondering if I could get roms on it like on my ds as i have r4. However my friend said that every now and then you get updates to check you dont have anything like roms, so if i do get that software for roms, will i be caught?
Best Answer: The Wii can be chipped but it's a very bad idea because as you say there are updates to the software on the Wii every so often that will make things difficult for you, especially the updates that are on game disks that can brick your Wii (stop it working) or give you more than one copy of the channels. Basically don't do it unless you want to take a chance of breaking your Wii at some point with a dodgy update. - caffeinekid
roms on wii is a risky thing, like the other guy said, i'd do it on ds or psp if u have them, its a lot easier to do it on psp, my friends have psps and they know how to get roms on their easily nd quick, and unlike wii, roms on a psp probably wont damage the psp, because psp dont need to be chipped to get roms, they have a built in ability to play roms, unlike the wii. so if u were thinking about putting roms on wii id only do it if u really want to take that risk. its your choice. - hotshot46
