d_murik I need help networking my mac to my pc??? - d_murik OK, I bought a Macbook ( high end), and want to network it to my pc. I use a 512k broadband connection with 5gb usage, so is my connection able to hold up another computer? Also, which wireless router do I use? Is it worth it getting an Apple Time Capsule (http://store.apple.com/133-622/WebObjects/individualAustralia.woa/9104023/wa/PSLID?mco=3CFDBA81&fnode=home&nplm=MB277X/A&wosid=AL7vkjuFBo7l3QWq65I1AXjHUMq#overview) I need the router for sharing a printer, some files and the internet. My printer is a Brother DCP-150C, but it doesn't have network capability...
Best Answer: Hi I think time capsule from mac is a good device and idea. Since you can share files over the network and do automatic back ups. Is it worth it? it depends if you have the money, for me its kind of expensive I would wait a little bit to see if it get cheaper. If you get a router, you can create a network at home and share the printer and connects your computer. I have done that with pcs, you share the hard drive and you can transfer files. I think with mac might be easier. good luck - ChristianESL
