cliftonphotographer Why is my system showing a 4th Scanner? - cliftonphotographer When I was scanning a paper today,my system allowed me to choose either my camera or my scanner. However my system is calling my scanner HP Scanjet 4500C #4. I went to change the name of the scanner to HP Scanjet 4500C and it said an item already exists with that name. So I tried the same thing # 3 and it said that it also exists. So I am thinking that my system seems to be at least partially seeing 4 scanners by the same company? I say partially because it wont let me rename the scanner to a no number or a 2,or 3 since it's "seeing" those in the system. But at the same time, when I select scan from the program menu,it's only seeing the #4 Scanner and my camera. So how can I clean up those old 3 scanners that even I can't see.
