thelastshade Can you help me with directX 10? - thelastshade Alright, here's the deal. i just bought a brand-new game and i cant get it to run for obvious reasons. The second problem is that i don't have a legit version of xp. so I cant install direct x unless it from a website other then Microsoft. (windows genuine advantage will block me from getting any Microsoft products) where can i find dircectX 10 without getting viruses and other baddies?
Best Answer: One, STOP, Never install DX10 untill you get vista, Windows is Screwed up and made it Impossiable to get rid of Direct 10 without a roll back, even then you system still sucks because of the files, Get vista then dx10 or wait for crackers to make a xp patch for it so it runs on DX 9 - Kinjid

DirectX10 ships with Vista. It's not available for XP. If the game requires DX10, it also requires Vista. - roo2
