lonewolf8800 PSP Battery not charging fully? - lonewolf8800 My fat (original) PSP's battery lifespan was just about up so I decided to get another original Sony battery replacement. It's a little bigger than the 1800 mAh one (it says 2200 mAh) and the lettering is gold. Anyways, it seemed to have been working good until I go to recharge it. It only recharges to 80% or so and it says "Charge Complete". I don't know why it won't go to 100% no matter what I do. I have Custom Firmware installed. Would that cause a problem? Can anyone help?
Best Answer: It may be because the battery you bought is a fake. If you bought it from a reputable store that might not be the case but if you got it off of ebay then there's a good chance it's a fake. Maybe since you're running custom firmware you might need to make it a jigkick battery? - Seito S
