Problem with DVD/CD drive on new HP Pavilion? - rjakjr Trying to get PC to recognize DVD/CD drive because for some reason it's not showing on My Computer and not recognizing when a disc is put in drive... keeps giving me error message: "WBT - install.exe: install.exe - Entry Point Not Found The procedure entry point ?BreakOnDbgAndRenterLoop@@YGKXZ could not be located in the dynamic link library wbemcomn.dll" ANY SOLUTIONS??? Best Answer: Your system is under warranty. Phone HP hardware technical service and the technician will first attempt to walk you through diagnostics and repair options. The technician may also request to do a remote repair. If so, go ahead and allow this as you can control everything the technician does. If this does not correct your issue you will have the option of exchanging the unit or sending it in for repairs. Read your warranty information to see who is responsible for the shipping. You may have a virus infection. The wbemcomn.dll is used by several different Trojans. Run the free Microsoft scanner at safety.live.com and that will take care of it. Use the full scan option. Make sure your antivirus is up-to-date and run a full scan. If you don't have an adware/spyware removal program get the free Spybot S&D 1.5.2 and install it.
