m_ezy How do I install my new hard drive into my laptop? - m_ezy Hi I just got my new hard drive (Western Digital Scorpio 250GB Serial ATA/SATA 2.5" Notebook Hard Drive, 5400RPM, 8MB, WD2500BEVS / WL250GLSA854, Recertified) but my connectors are totally different. How do I install this? I'm trying to put it in my IBM Thinkpad 600E laptop.
Best Answer: The 600E needs an EIDE/PATA hard drive, not a SATA drive. - Jster

Answer to Q1. To install a new hard drive: 1. Remove the old one 2. Insert the new one in its place Answer to Q2. When a drive has different connectors to the drive you are trying to replace, you have the wrong drive. Purchase the correct replacement. - Linux OS
