Cant install network printer in Vista? -
compcrasher86
Hi the printer is a Canon Faxphone L80 connected via USB to a Dell downstairs running Windows XP Home. I have been able to successfully connect every other computer to it but mine. When I try and install the network printer on my 64-bit laptop, it says that my operating system wasnt made for the driver. I downloaded the latest vista driver from the canon website so I imagine its because my laptop is 64 bit. I am on wifi so is there any way I can work around this so I can print from my laptop to the networked printer that is attached to the dell?
