Best Answer: Sony is well known or using a different power brick tip from everyone else.. namely the barrel-in-pin setup. However, they are also very good at using different sized tips for different adapters. Sony is also well known for using a standard voltage and amperage for a wide range of laptops. All that said... Yes, the adapters for those two models are identical. Feel free to interchange them. - bon-gart
