Codger LCD TV repair - Faulty inverter? - Codger I have a goodmans LCD TV, model number LD1501 which uses the Vestel 17MB01P-2 chassis. It has a fault which initially looked like the inverter was faulty. The picture would stay on for 5 seconds before the screen went blank. However, I tried it with the back off the TV and the picture would stay on for anything up to 20 minutes like that. Do I have a faulty inverter? I'd like to be certain before I bought one. Also, where's a good place to buy them from (preferably in the UK). The inverter is a Sampo LVE0322 or 30027775
Best Answer: You could measure the voltage output from the inverter. If the picture goes black and the inverter voltage stays the same it is not the inverter. Could be a power supply problem. - TVREAPER
