hotncguy18 Is a pyle pro PZR 2000 a good amplifier? - hotncguy18 I have a pyle pro PZR 2000 amp and was wondering if this was a good amp? I am trying to push a pair of TP212 speakers made by MTX Audio. Basically has 2 12" MTX Audio speakers and a loud speaker tweater in each box? Or would it be better to use it on Q Power speakers that has 2 15" speakers, a loud speaker tweater and 3 piezos on each box. And just need to know if this is a good amplifier?
Best Answer: I've been buying pyle products for 30 years, and they have had quality products for less money that exceeded what the competition could do. In fact, this month I will order some speaker components from them, the same ones I used 30 years ago. To this day no one comes close to matching the performance for the price. Oh, the amp? I expect it to be good, I'm ordering it. That's one reason why I clicked your question. Any new amp stable to 2 ohms speaker output is a tribute to technology. Your speakers are probably wired at 4 ohms, which produces more power from that unit, I plan to build up some double woofer 4 ohm towers to use with mine too. The specs and features for that amp and it's Pro 1000 brother are good, the reviews are favorable except the church that didn't like the volume level resetting each time it was turned on. Most people basically said: "best bang for the buck". Sounds good to me, I'm getting mine for less than 1/2 list price. Both sets of your speakers look fine to me, I love twin woofer speakers and swear by piezo electric tweeters. Your friends should be jealous. - Magyver
