Patricia L Plasma Display Screen has Problem? - Patricia L My Funai F42PDME Plasma Display TV worked fine for the past 3 and a half years, until last week. I stepped out of the room for 15 minutes. Upon returning, I found the TV off. When I turned it on, the background showed black and the people or subjects had halos of color around them. The over-all look resembled a color negative if you can imagine that. What to do? Thanks for any help!
Best Answer: Sounds to me like something on the display board went bad! Sorry to say but the only thing you can do is take it in for repair or buy a new one. If you buy a new one, i HIGHLY recommend you go with a more well known brand of Plasma like Panasonic or Samsung! Panasonic Plasma TV's are quickly becoming the most reliable and best performing TV's in the business! And they're quite affordable too! Likewise for Samsung! I have a Panasonic 42" Plasma TV and i absolutely love the TV! Outstanding picture quality and overall performance...i wouldn't trade it for any other TV right now!!! - Cornelius
