Mr. Fleming Is the Electronic fan supposed to come on automatically on a power inverter? - Mr. Fleming i have 2 power inverters one is a whistler 400watt the other is an XOvision 400watt the whistler inverter fan comes on right when you plug it in to the cigarette lighter. the Xo vision (new) spins the fan 1 rotation and then stops when you plug it in to cigarette lighter. (but the gps and phone stay plugged in while its in the socket. i was just wondering if it is NORMAL for some power inverter fans to stay on constantly or do they come on ONLY when it's been on for so long.
Best Answer: I have a boxful of old Whistler branded inverters that had been returned under warranty. The fans on those are not temperature controlled. Don -
some, if not all fans are temperature controlled, which is normal - electronics technician
