Question and Answers

tjs323 Will I be making a wise choice by purchasing this projector? - tjs323 I bought and epson 77c projector last year, not knowing that movies and TV/Games would look so bad on it. Since that projector is made for office use, it only works well with computer stuff. So, I want to buy another projector, that is made for watching movies, TV, and playing an xbox-360 on it. I found this one right here. http://www.projectorreviews.com/optoma/hd65/ Would this one work ok? I dont want to spend alot of money on another projector, since my epson cost almost $1,000 when I bought it.
Best Answer: Projector are good when watching movies. I don't recommend using this to play game with, due to the fact that you need a dark room for the projector and the life of the bulb is only 2,000 hours. The cost of the bulbs is around $200 and up. This projector is also a 720P and not capable of the high quality of the Blue Ray disc movies. For your use, get a 46" 120HZ LCD from Sumsang, it is bright for games and will last 100,000 hours before it is half quality brightness. I do have a Panasonic projector with 1080P and the cost is $3,500 and only used to watch movies and a 59" or 50" Plasma for tv use. Optima is a good quality brand projector. Hope this helps. - bbt91945
