HELP ON PORT FORWARDING A FIREWALLED ROUGHTER.? - Johna E I play alot of mutliplayer games but when ever i go and forward the port. My server comes up N/A. Meaning firewalled. Im not sure how to get past this. I am useing a Wireless G broadband roughter -TEW-432BRP TrendNet. Some one recomended this sight to me would it be safe. (i have virus protection) If some one can tell me how to get past the firewall that would be great. And this link would it help in any way? http://www.simpleportforwarding.com/

Best Answer: Log into the web interface of your router Go to the Access Tab Go to Virtual Server Select Enable Enter a name For protocol select * In Public and Private Port enter the port you need forwarded(same port for both) In LAN Server enter the IP address of your PC or gaming console (you may want to set your PC or gaming console network settings to use a static address) Click Add. Your port is now forwarded to your internal IP address. - greedosdead

one of two thing your computers firewall or the routers (Spelled like that) if its the router go to its config page and find your port forwarding you will need your computers ip and the port number that you need for the game. - jord369
