HP Scanjet software glitch? - TSFMM Every few scans, AFTER I've done all my straightening and cropping, when I hit save, instead of bringing up the little save window, the HP scan program just grays out every option--save, print, scan, rescan, etc. No matter what I do, I can't save my scan. So far the only thing that's worked has been quitting the whole program and rescanning (and, subsequently, re-editing, which is a huge pain in the ass). Am I doing something to cause this, or is it a glitch? Any ideas on how to fix it? Losing work BECAUSE I'm saving is infuriating.

Best Answer: If I WERE YOU, once you scan the images into the scanner, use Corel or Photoshop to re-work youe pictures or for editing putposes. That way, you will be able tyo save on -the-fly once in a while, as you are editing. HP software isn't the best LOL. If you have Photoshop, go in the file menu and select TWAIN as the driver, and then , SCAN. That way, you can scan, edit and save in Photoshop . - T-Bar
