Best Answer: I wouldn't recommend it. Bose designs their equipment that it all works together. If your system is like most Bose systems, your bookshelf speaker connect to the subwoofer, that subwoofer had crossovers in it to make sure that the signal being sent to your bookshelf speakers is the range they were designed for. The speaker will handle audio from whatever source you send them, but they won't usually last as long. - rennikcks
