burningnoodle help hook up a spectroniq surround sound? - burningnoodle I dont kno wwhere a manual is and I dont know how to hook it up? I got the sound parts in all I dont get is where the sound input on the system goes? the sound is supposed to go into the system right? so why would it come back out I dont know how that helps but anyway where would that go? also on the spectroniq dvd there are 3 plugs Y, Pb/Cb and Pr/Cr what are all of those there for? any ideas? thank you very much its just confusing me so much!
Best Answer: Those plugs are for (HD) 720p video they are called component cables. Those go from the DVD player to the TV or receiver depending on your setup. They do not carry audio so you need a set of audio cables or an optical audio cable to send sound to the TV or receiver as well. Just make sure you plug them into the same source plug on the back of the unit. Usually they are color coded for the green, blue and red component plugs. Then in the same source input find the audio input and plug the audio cables in. - Steve & Maria D
