Is this a good gaming pc for new gen games? - Zankoku I´m building my first pc so i´m open to any advice, also i want to be able to run and play all the new games with optimum resolution, graphics and FPS. Specs: *CPU: Core i7 920 2.66GHz *Motherboard: Asus P6T deluxe *Ram: 3x2gb DDR3 triple-channel 1333 *HDD: Segate 1TB 7,200 rpm *Power supply: 700w (still don´t know which one) *GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 285 *Case: Thermaltake V9 *Display: Viewsonic 22" VX2262WM My budget is around $2,000 you think it´s enough for all this, or i´ll need more :S Thanks for your help ; )

Best Answer: That CPU is dedictaed for gaming! wish i had one of those.You should be able to run every game out there.Most of them can probably be maxed out with that cpu. - joekickass

HDD is fine CPU is fine if it is a dual core RAM is fine GPU is not fine, I suggest getting one of the Ati Radeon 4000 Series Display is alright It shouldn't even cost you more then $2,000 to have a good gaming pc even in Australian Currency - Teosis
