EandM Belt path on a denon turntable? - EandM I need to know the belt path on my denon turntable. All the tutorials online assume that I can look at the belt and see the path, but it slipped off entirely and is just there not attached to anything. I need to know what to loop the belt around and in what order. I know to loop it around the motor pulley and the spindle in the middle but that can't be it since there is tons of belt left and it has to be the right size since it worked fine before it slipped off. Please the internet so far has failed me but hopefully one of you won't.
Best Answer: The belt doesn't loop around the spindle in the middle, it loops around a lip at or near the outer edge of the turntable platter. It sometimes goes around what is labeled the "hub" in this picture http://www.gbaudio.co.uk/images/platterdiagrams.jpg but on some turntables it goes around the very outer edge of the platter. - mjx385
