jnbramblett how do i hook up sony ps3,sony dvd(dav-hdx265) no optical in/out,single hdmi out!to an hdtv? - jnbramblett i have a vizio hd t.v.(2 hdmi ports) a sony ps3,a sony dvd (dav-hdx265) it has 1 hdmi out on it. no optical in ,witch my old 1 had! how do i get hd out of all this!??????
Best Answer: Since you have a PS3, I am not sure why you still need your DVD player. I am sure your TV has Component inputs as well (R/G/B). Use HDMI for the Ps3 and your set-top box Use Component for everything else. - TV guy
