Question and Answers

sum_fly_filipino What is wrong with my monitor!!!? - sum_fly_filipino I logged on one day and needed to write some files to a DVD-R disc. During the process I left there for a while because it was a lot of files and then it went on sleep mode or whatever you call it. When I logged back in I accidentally clicked another profile. Then it started to load and the screen just went brown. I don't understand why its brown. I can't do anything after that. It just stays like that even after I turn the computer off. I tried to unplug it and the screen turned off. I plugged back in it happened again while the computer was still off. The screen looks like an unloaded video game. Like one of those old maps on video games. Brown. I have a Sylvania LCD 19" I think. I don't really know because its my dad's. But it is Sylvania. Please I need help!
Best Answer: Try booting in SAFE mode. If color is back to normal, there is nothing wrong w/ PC or monitor. Reboot to normal mode. If you get back the brown display, do a System Restore to a restore date before the problem began. -
well im really sorry to say this but you blew the monitor.
