Chris Problem with my HD lcd / Ps3? - Chris so ive been trying to use my sharp full HD lcd in 1080p mode with my ps3, however it wont do it? it shows up for a second with some strang effects and then the tv says incompatible signal. i am using a slightly old hdmi cable but i dont know why this shouldnt work. blueray works fine tho.any help or personal experience would be great.
Best Answer: Make sure the HDMI cable youre using is version 1.3a. Older HDMI cables are not fully compatible with some TVs and/or PS3s. Also it will look better if the HDMI cable is gold plated. - Helsenki
go but a new hdmi cable reset the factory settings on the ps3 and tv to default and start all over again that should work
