Is this a good brand for a Plasma? - Emily Is Sanyo a good brand for a Plasma? I was thinking of getting this one... http://www.sanyo.com.au/products/tvs-set-top-boxes/plasma-tvs/pdp42xr9da But wanted somebody else's opinion. :)

Best Answer: Hi, Yeah i think Sanyo is a good brand. But for me the best would be Sony, just check the prices, if it not a big diference for you, get the Sony. Also i would check website with reviews of Sanyo's TVs. Type Sanyo TV Review on google and read a few. IT may help you in your decision. -

Sanyo's legacy ended with the TV/VCR era of the 80's & early 90's. The landscape for plasma TVs is much different now with Panasonic and Samsung taking the lead. Pick from the active players. Avoid the others. - Miles

Sanyo is NOT a good brand of Plasma...or any other type of TV for that matter! They only brands that i can recommend for Plasma TV's are these: 1. Pioneer-(best of the best...very expensive $2,000+) 2. Panasonic-(best dollar for dollar Plasma in the world. $700+) 3.
