Best Answer: The film was discontinued last year. While there are still some people selling it, it is going for a premium price. http://www.adorama.com/PD600PS.html Polaroid does not use paper. The film comes in packets with ten shots in them. Eventually the remaining film will be no longer be avialable, so if you are still interested in instant photography, you will have to switch to Fujifilim instant cameras and film - fhotoace
