Best Answer: a 12'' screen is fine...this sounds like a pretty awesome laptop for school use and the 3gb ram is going to be sufficient to run any app. you can dream of!!!...i build custom computers and frequently only use 2gb ram!!!...i definitely recommend it!...the only issue you may find is the 256mb graphics may hinder you on some visuals, however this is easily remedied by bumping up the virtual memory, if you get this laptop i am certain you will not be disappointed. - carson
3gb is max on 32bit systems, allow yourself more RAM only if the software runs on 64bit. The 12inch screen is too small. You wont be multitasking but youll probably be using it a lot through the day. I have regretted my life for buying a 13.3 screen. Nor the resolution works fine in every occasion. At the end of the day you are destroying your eyes, not immediately but in the years to come. Use such screens only for transfer reasons and for limited time. - NILTHM
No, 12" is actually a decent size screen. It sounds small, but use it and you'll see it's just right. It's the perfect size for a little netbook-sized computer sitting on your desk in class. - Swibs
