Nicole wireless router problem? - Nicole I got a new wireless router. I have a netgear wireless-G router (WGR614) and as soon as i run setup, it doesn't allow me to continue because "The application only runs on Windows 2000, Windows XP or Vista 32-bit version operating systems ". It then tells me to run the application again on a supporting operating system, or consult the documentation to setup the router independently.. I have an inspiron 530s. it has windows vista. Can anyone help me out with this?
Best Answer: I dont know if this will fix your problem but you should give it a try. go to http://kbserver.netgear.com/kb_web_files/n101649.asp#vista_wirelessrouter and click on Wireless Routers and then look for your router model Number AND its version and click on one of the installation files. you will need to download it and then install it. - McLovin
consult the documentation to setup the router independently What does the documentation say? - dbrezlin
