Which is the best name brand for wireless routers? - lizard81288 Which is the best name brand for wireless routers? i did a little researching, and it seems Linksys/Cisco sucks with the exception of the WRT54, however version 5 sucks, so i would need to find version 4 or lower. so these are some name brands i might find, so which one is the best, if i was at the store, and was buying one? Linksys/Cisco D-Link Netgear Asus Belkin Buffalo Technology SMC

Cisco is the best (not the Linksys crap) D-Link and Netgear are the best home routers. Look into the gaming routers. Better throughput, and they tend to have better chipsets. - Synful Visions

Buffalo is really good as well as linksys... reason why people dont like linksys usually is because its a little less user friendly but I'd go with either those too Vice President of Computer Savvy chris - chris z
