powerpc127 LCD tv made loud "pop" and now doesn't work. Is there a fix? - powerpc127 Recently I turned on my Maxent LCD tv (http://www.maxentusa.com/_coreModules/eShopping/productDetail.aspx?productMasterID=15) and after working fine for about 5 minutes there was a loup "pop" noise. After that the screen went black and would not display any images even when the small light indicating that the power is on was lit up. There is no visible damage to the screen and the tv was only 2-3 years old. Is there any way to fix this or should I just get a new one?
Best Answer: Most likely a capacitor popped. It could be a very simple repair, so check with a repair store. - TV guy
