Question and Answers

Protron/SpectronIQ PLTV-3750 --- change image resolution? - this is a 37" LCD flat panel HDTV. i was having issues with the HDMI and getting the tv to recognize the blu-ray player (which worked fine with this tv for quite some time). a tech-savvy friend decided to reset the whole tv. same problem with HDMI unfortunately, but NOW the resolution on the tv is 720x240 (max is 1366x768 and was at this resolution from the time i took it home). i never set it to the max resolution, it just was this way when i looked at System Info. i have gone through every menu option possible and aside from changing the aspect ratio i am at a loss. this tv and its company has its MANY issues. customer service non-existent, company changed names a few times, lots of complaints/bad reviews online, etc. i realize i may be including myself to the list of the many disappointed customers but i just thought i would check. thanks!
Best Answer: Resolution is CONTROLLED by the DVD player....the TV just recieves the signal from the DVD player. and processes it according to the resolution you have set it for.... - TV Tech 1
