Best Answer: here is the manual http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/KXTG5438.PDF from page 42 (detailed instructions on page 50) press menu 061 (the feature code for ring count) then press any number from 2 thru 7 to set the amount of rings (2-7 rings) or press 0 for toll saver press save press off - joe r
