virus in my modem it is possible ? - Jitesh K the problem is my zyxel prestige router working in my network all internet users..............but it is not working in my windows server 2000 computer........??

Best Answer: Trying to understand what you said. It works on all of your computers except the 2000 server? If that is the case, it's an issue with the 2000 server most likely. I'd check the security settings or network settings. -

if the modem has a firewall or router in it (some do), it *may* cause a problem with your connection. my Clear ISP uses a firewalled modem, but it is also supposed to work with a router. I haven't had any problems except for an occasional connection reset. but when I had a actiontec wireless modem from qwest, it did not like my router. I could not get a connection through. (they may have come up with a better model since then)
